“We want to live long and happily, but now we need to win! Because we see no other life than in a peaceful, independent, free Ukraine,” – Serhiy Borisov and Svitlana Legka, President of the Charity Foundation “Svitlii”, in the new issue of ELLE Ukraine.

ELLE Ukraine magazine presents a special spring issue. Its main project “I’ll say, I confess that I love” is dedicated to everyone who is waiting for their loved ones from the front today.
Five couples appeared before the lens of Ukrainian photographer Konstantin Liberov, most of whom changed their civilian professions to military ones with the beginning of the full-scale invasion: sniper Anastasia Savka and Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Oleksiy Levchenko; military volunteer Svitlana Legka and Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Serhiy Borisov; photographers Vlada and Konstantin Liberov; founder and designer of the SOLO for Diamonds brand Yulia Kusher and pilot-aeromedical engineer Anton Mykhailiuk; journalist Kateryna Berezovets and Ukrainian Armed Forces major Taras Berezovets.
The new issue of ELLE shares stories from couples in love about their first meeting and that magical moment when that “chemistry” happened. The issue is now available for pre-order on ELLE.UA.
Special project ELLE Ukraine is not just a project… It is a personal recognition that you can be an example for others. That war does not prevent you from falling in love and loving. Love becomes a support and a huge strength for people in the darkest times. Thank you to my husband and I for choosing our couple from many worthy ones. Thank you to the whole team. And especially Sonia Zabouga and Rimikhanova Tatiana for their support and belief in me personally — Svitlana Legka
