The project “Children of War. Graduate 2024” returned faith and hope to the hearts of graduates from the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The project “Children of War. Graduate 2024” gave the graduates of the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region not just a fairy tale day, but returned to them a part of what was taken by the enemy – a feeling of joy, celebration and faith in a better tomorrow. He showed that even in the darkest of times, you can find a light that leads you forward. And this light is in their eyes, their smiles, in every frame of this unforgettable photo session.
That is why, to support the mental health of young Ukrainians, the volunteer organization Help Ukraine Monaco and the Svitlana Legka’s Charity Foundation “Svitlii” launched the project “Children of War. Graduate 2024” is dedicated to graduates of Ukraine who are forced to live in difficult times due to Russian aggression.
As part of the project, a photo shoot in graduation outfits with holiday hairstyles and make-up from the best hairdressers, make-up artists, stylists and star photographers is organized and held for the students, in addition, all the clothes and shoes from the photo set are given to the participants as a gift.
Star stylists – Lyera Hornostay, Angela Posohova, Iryna Astakhova, Kseniya Zhuk, @vdbrows, @gryshko_makeup and others worked on the creation of images.
The photographers are the famous Ukrainian photographer Oleg Soshko and Valentina Petrovych.

For many Ukrainian schoolchildren, the war took away the main celebration of their youth – the prom. They are forced to refuse graduation or meet them under constant fire, sometimes in shelters. This is the reality of Ukrainian youth today.
No matter how difficult it is now, Ukrainians cannot be broken. We will fight, develop, learn. For the sake of freedom and our future. Therefore, during the implementation of the project “Children of War. Graduate 2024” charitable foundation of Svitlana Legka “Svitly” decided to expand its support and join the reconstruction and arrangement of shelters for students of educational institutions. According to preliminary calculations, it is necessary to collect UAH 3,000,000 to realize the goal.
